Sequoyah Angus Ranch

Our Bulls are tested for genetic potential and for Bull Soundness.

All our Bulls are bred, weaned and raised on the Ranch. They are culled at birth, at weaning and during a continuing 28 day on-farm feed test. If they don't meet our strict demands at any time we call them hamburger. We believe in "Quality Service" and the first place to start is providing you with the very best we can offer. Repeat Buyers and word of mouth promotion from satisfied buyers make up 90% of our private treaty sales.

Our Feed test is not a test to peak these animals. We want to give you a product that has been genetically performance tested but at the same time we want an animal that will work for you and not melt when he is turned out with a pasture of open heifers or cows. Our performance data on all animals is available to you.

EACH FALL WE HAVE SOME EXCITING YEARLINGS HERE AT THE RANCH.

We keep all prospective Bull calves until we can obtain yearling weights and perform at least four test weights for ADG. Our Bulls are scanned for ultrasound data at yearlings.

Thanks to all our customers who chose Sequoyah for their replacement bulls and heifers this year. Your support is so valuable to us. We have a crop of thirty yearling bulls from the class of 2006.

This targets our bulls to daily consume only 1.5% of their body weight and ensures that your new Angus bull will thrive in pasture breeding conditions.
